Con el objetivo de conmemorar el 25 de Noviembre, día de acción por la NO violencia hacia la mujer, Latin Feminist Collective se une con Sorola (Sororidad Latina NZ) para invitarte a participar de esta hermosa actividad creada por mujeres para mujeres!
Sabemos que nuestra condición de migrantes nos hace más propensas a distintas violencias y es por eso más urgente para nosotras forjar lazos y redes de apoyo y sororidad. Las actividades de este día estarán orientadas a informarnos y construir redes que nos ayuden a vivir libres de toda forma de violencia.
Tendremos charlas, música, baile y mucho amor para compartirnos entre nosotras y seguir creando redes.
Recuerda : “No estamos solas, nos tenemos todas”
Sábado 26 de Noviembre de 11:00 a 14:00 hrs en el centro de eventos Parked Up Beer Garden & Venue
Esquina de Fanshaw Street & Halsey Street, cerca de Victoria Park, Auckland. La entrada es gratuita.
Que debes llevar:
– Papel y lápiz (para anotar lo que creas necesario).
– Flores frescas (una por persona, serán usadas para darle vida a un hermoso bordado).
– Alimento para compartir (galletas, frutas, queque) para así poder compartir todas juntas de una gran mesa Sorora!
– Puntualidad, llega a tiempo así podrás participar de las actividades que tenemos programadas para este día tan importante para las mujeres!

With the aim of commemorating the 25th of November, a day of action for non-violence against women, the Latin Feminist Collective joins forces with Sorola (Sororidad Latina NZ) to invite you to participate in an inclusive event created by women for women!
As immigrants, we are exposed to unique circumstances that can affect our wellbeing. That is why it is important for us to forge ties and create networks of support and sisterhood. The planned activities for the event will be oriented to inform, educate, and build networks that help us to live free from all forms of violence.
There will be talks, music, dancing, and lots of love to share with each other in continuing to support our growing networks.
Remember, we are not alone, we all have each other.
You should bring:
– Paper and pencil (to write what you believe is necessary).
– Flowers (one per person, they will be used to give life to a beautful embroidery).
– Finger food to share (bisquets, fruit, cake) so everybody can share a big Sorora table!
– Please be on time, so you can enjoy all the activities in the program in this day so important for women!
